Dr. Jen Schmidt

Dr. Schmidt graduated from UW-Madison in 2011. She began her career in the St Louis area and became a devoted St. Louis Cardinals fan (don’t worry-she’s still a Packer’s fan). She moved back to her home state in 2017 and joined Country View in 2025.

Dr. Schmidt and her husband have two daughters, who have kept them humble and sometimes tired. They also have two cats (Cassia and Zinnia), and a 3 legged Boston terrier named Pepper Debra. Zinnia is incredibly chill but has an unbridled passion for counter surfing. Cassia is a shoulder cat who enjoys being dressed up and taken on stroller rides around the house by the kids. Pepper only has two brain cells bouncing her sweet head, one of which is dedicated to anxiety and the other is dedicated to the wait command.

Outside of work, Dr Schmidt enjoys spending time with her family and has been working tirelessly to convince her husband they should buy their own horse instead of just riding others’. She also enjoys running and biking.

Her professional interests include dentistry, dermatology, feline medicine and soft tissue surgery.
