October 1, 2019
Many of you are aware that for the past year or so I have not been seeing clients due to ongoing medical issues. This has been a physically exhausting time for me and unfortunately the multiple problems I have been diagnosed with have made it impossible for me to practice in the future. Therefore, I am retiring, effective immediately. The decision to no longer practice was extremely difficult for me to make due to the great joy I have gotten from serving you, our clients, and your pets. Many of you know that Country View has always been dedicated to practicing quality medicine and surgery, but also it was my desire to know the people besides their pets when possible. I will miss the relationships that have developed over the last fifteen years along with being able to use my skills learned over time to help your “furry kids”.
With my absence there has been some difficulty scheduling appointments as quickly as we used to do. The doctors and staff have worked extremely hard to accommodate the caseload. There is currently a shortage of Veterinarians in the country and we have been searching for a Veterinarian for over a year with no success…but have not stopped looking. We remain hopeful. During this time, however, we have found it necessary to change some hours of operation, at least temporarily. BEGINNING NOVEMBER 1, WE WILL BE CLOSING MONDAY thru FRIDAY AT 5PM. Saturday hours will remain 7:30 AM to Noon.
I thank all of you for coming to CVAH over the years to see me or the other doctors. I hope you will have patience during this time of difficulty for the clinic. We are all doing our best to continue to serve you. I thank you for the trust and confidence you placed in me as your veterinarian, and your continued trust in the other doctors and staff of CVAH.
