All of us here at Country View Animal Hospital want you to know that we are closely monitoring the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the impact it is having on our community. Country View Animal Hospital is taking action to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients, patients and staff.

To protect our clients and staff members, we are going above and beyond our normal cleaning and disinfecting protocols to make sure our practices are as clean and safe as possible. We are continuing to wash our hands frequently at a 20-second minimum, using hand sanitizer and examination gloves as needed, sanitizing in between each patient encounter, disinfecting ALL surfaces, equipment, bathrooms, door knobs, desks and hard surfaces multiple times a day, and we are requiring any staff member who is feeling ill to stay home.

At this time, we are not closing the practice. However, we are trying to limit exposure for you and our team. Therefore, we ask if you are feeling ill, please send someone else in your
place. Like most veterinary practices in our area, we are seeing patients on a “curbside” basis. When you arrive in our parking lot, call us. We will have you talk to one of our technicians or assistants and they will come collect your pet at the car. Once inside, the veterinarian will conduct the services and call you as well to review your pet’s health and their recommendations. Then your pet will be returned to you and we ask that you call in with a credit card payment if possible, or we can provide the total for you to write a check at that time. We appreciate your patience as we continue to monitor COVID-19 in the Fox Valley.

Our decisions are based on recommendations from local and state authorities, as well as the CDC, AVMA, and the protocols being instituted in other animal hospitals in our area.

We will keep you updated as things change!

Thank you,
The Country View Animal Hospital Team
